Okay, I won’t lie. I was just craving oysters from the last time I was in Boston (Check out the ones from Union Oyster House). This booth wasn’t on my hit list but I had to cave in for a half dozen while I was there.
Some marinara, sauerkraut, a bit of Tabasco and a squirt of lemon gives these a wonderful flavour profile. For those too squeamish to try one, you’re are so missing out. I got one of my foodie friends to try it for the first time and it definitely sent her mouth on a flavour trip.
Special shout-out to the person who gave me an extra oyster, shucker’s half-dozen I guess
