A great accompaniment for any dinner. Get creative with the ingredients or use this recipe as is with old cheddar and fresh green onion.
  • 4 cups all purpose flour
  • 2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • 1 tablespoon garlic powder
  • 1 cup butter frozen
  • 1 ½ cups milk
  • ¾ cup of thinly chopped green onions
  • 250 g shredded old cheddar
  1. Pre-Heat oven to 425 deg F
  2. Mix together dry ingredients 1-4.
  3. Shred the frozen butter and mix into the flour mixture until evenly distributed
  4. Mix in the green onions and cheese until evenly distributed.
  5. Add milk and mix until dough holds together and can for a ball.
  6. Roll out onto a lightly floured surface until ½” thick and cut into 2 ½” circles and place onto a parchment lined cookie sheet
  7. Bake for 15 minutes or until surface turns lightly brown.
