Imagine an Asian version of the Italian risotto balls and you have the Me.N.U Rice Balls. I tried their Angry birds one and their Gangnum Style one which are their chicken and bulgogi beef rice balls respectively.
Personally, I like the idea of the food item but I felt that the crust was a little bit thick on mine. The flavour of the rice balls themselves are pretty good, but I would have liked to see them use a different kind of cheese. I believe they use aged mozzarella in their rice balls, the problem with melting many different cheeses is that they lose their flavour. I’ll offer a suggestion for another flavour, ginger and green onion lobster chunks and gruyère cheese inside.
Interesting idea, can just use some tweaking for the recipe. Will definitely try the other flavours of their rice balls.
